Renewable Heat Incentive
The financial incentives related to renewable energy are widely available and extremely rewarding.
What is the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme?
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme is a government lead scheme that provides a financial incentive for changing heating systems from traditional fossil fuel solutions to approved renewable heating solutions. The scheme is available to both domestic and non-domestic markets.
The program was introduced to help the UK reduce its carbon emissions by increasing the use of renewable heat systems.
Once your application has been approved you will have to adhere to the rules defined within the scheme you will receive quarterly payments for seven years based on the amount of renewable heat your system produces.
Complete information on both the domestic and non-domestic schemes are available on the government website. We have included links directly to these pages below as well as the help line contact information.
